This outfit is for early 14th cent nortern european living history. The shoes are hand sewn and dyed with iron. The cotte is cut similar to the herjolfsnes cottes, and has hand made bronze buttons. It is made of a thin tabby wool, and lined vith a very light green tabby linen. The cloak is a standard half cirkel made of a very felted thick wool twill, lined with thin white wool, and the cord i tie it up with is fingerloop braided of silk. The coronet is made of a tabby very even linen, and to make it stiff i used a very thick linen canvas. All items are hand sewn, whith linen or wool thread. |
